Most Norwegian pancakes are like slightly thick crepes or are thick and made with something similar to buttermilk ("lapper"). What we call "American pancakes" are the thick kind that perfectly sucks up all the sweet maple syrup... Yummy!

50gbutter
2,5dlfull fat milk
2pcsegg
3dlflour
0.5tspsalt

Instructions
Melt butter and add milk. Then whisk in the eggs.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Pour in the liquid while stirring evenly.
Let the pancake batter rest and swell for about 15 minutes. This is important for achieving the right consistency.
Cook the pancakes in a small pan, about 15 cm in diameter (approximately 1.5 - 2 tablespoons of batter per pancake). After the batter swells up and becomes slightly "bubbly," you can flip them with a spatula.
Stack the finished pancakes on a plate. They taste great with maple syrup!
